David Bendell
David Bendell is very well known throughout New Zealand as a leading hairdressing educator as he has had a very long association with the Wellington Polytechnic as senior lecturer and lecturer-in-charge of Hairdressing within the School of Fashion. During this time David has taught thousands of apprentices and trainees including hosting and presenting special methods teaching techniques to many hairdressing lecturers in New Zealand. He has been guest presenter for training in many of the Provincial towns throughout New Zealand. He has been associated with a myriad of committees, associations and organisations including the New Zealand Inter-coiffure: past President of the Wellington Hairdressing Association: Apprenticeship and Syllabus/Curriculum committees: Chief Exam Setter and Marker for Trades Boards National Examinations. A qualified assessor of Adult Learning, Moderation of Work Place Assessment and Special Methods gives David a solid understanding of Hairdressing training and what hairdressers need to know and how this information should be delivered. He qualified as a Hairdresser at the British Hairdressing Council and City and Guilds of London Institute Examinations including the advanced City and Guilds of London Institute.

David is currently practicing in New Zealand's capital city, Wellington. He is in touch with the needs of hairdressers and customers.
