In processing, the curl is ready when the depth of the "S" movement is the same size as the diameter of the perm rod. Is this ready to neutralise?
Dampening Down
When dampening down, lift each perm rod and dampen the hair evenly with the solution. Don't over saturate as the solution will run onto the scalp. Catch the occasional drip with cottonwool. The hair will take on a shine when it is adequately dampened.
